HOW CAN I BE A SPIRIT SERVANT?
Students must earn the right and the privilege to serve in this capacity at Silverton Christian School.
1. Obtain an application from Mrs. Barth and fill out the information.
2. The application includes two positive recommendations from two adults (not Mrs. Barth) in the school and two students in the school.
3. You must be able to demonstrate a loving, servant-like attitude towards others, conduct yourself with integrity in and out of the classroom, and Mrs. Barth will sign off on this AFTER YOU WRITE A PARAGRAPH ABOUT THIS.
4. You must be caught up on all assignments with all teachers.

WHAT WILL SPIRIT SERVANTS DO?
1. Find ways to strengthen relationships between younger students and older students.
2. Create occasional exercises for the 7th and 8th graders to do that will promote faith and friendship (circle time, ice breakers, etc.)
3. Serve as emcee for chapel.
4. Run computer and/or sound system at chapel.
5. Host an occasional student-run chapel.
6. At least once a month, plan a spirit day for the whole school.
7. Go around to other classrooms educating students about events.
WE WILL MEET ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS DURING A LUNCH PERIOD OR RECESS TO DISCUSS IDEAS AND EVENTS.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I GET IN TROUBLE?
If you choose to conduct yourself in a way that does not meet the standard of Spirit Servants such as earning #2s or #3s in Mrs. Barth's class, causing trouble at recess or lunch, or portraying a disrespectful or dishonest attitude in any school setting, you will no longer be a Spirit Servant. You will need to reapply and start the process over.
